This was the first of what we hope to be regular field trips to Deveron Arts in Huntly, Aberdeenshire. Setting off at 6.30am on Saturday morning and getting back to Dundee by 10pm the following day, the trip included an Arts Breakfast with Hamish Fulton and Mary Jane Jacobs, a 2 hour choreographed block-walk with Fulton, a Walker's Ceilidh, and a 5 hour Sunday jaunt accompanying Fulton (this time slowed down by the weight of his rucksack) to the start of his 21 Day Cairngorms Walk.

We received wonderful hospitality from the Deveron Arts team, got the chance to meet and speak with artists, curators and other individuals from Aberdeenshire and further afield. JB even received a limp for his troubles! In short, we all had an enjoyable and rewarding time.
