Beginning 2/2/11 - Soil, Sew and Cycle - Skillshare Workshop
In collaboration with Dundee University's People and Planet and Tayside Foundation for the Conservation of Resources (TFCR), D-AiR have launched a new series of skillshare workshops.
Pleased with the enthusiasm garnered from our previous bike repair workshops - thanks in particular to Derrick, Peter and John - the next series of skillshares will utilise the resources at TFCR by reusing materials that would otherwise be recycled or go into landfill. On a rolling programme we'll be learning skills that fall under the following three headings: soil, sew and cycle. Whether building coldframes, designing cloth bags, or learning the step-by-step process of bike maintenance, there'll be something for everyone.
We're also keen to learn new skills. So if you have a particular skill you'd like to share, or one you'd like to learn, please send D-AiR an email.
Where: Tayside Recyclers, Units 1 & 2 South Dudhope Mill, Douglas Street, Dundee, DD1 5AN.
When: Wednesday's - Feb 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, March 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th - 1 - 5pm.
