D-AiR Performance Platform Jonathan Baxter Dundee Artists in Residence

The D-AiR Performance Platform was launched in April 2009. Since then we've kept on our toes and developed the programme in response to ongoing interests and participant's needs. We're generously supported by the Hannah Maclure Centre who provide space, equipment and funding for our activities.

To date we've organised a performance lecture by My Dads Strip Club and a six week series of urban subversion workshops led by Ange Taggart. These workshops led to the formation of Spacemakers, an artist-led collective currenty at play in the city.

Our second series began in September 2010 with a focus on immersive workshops. Workshop facilitators included Steven Anderson, Tessa Lynch, Kevin Henderson, Gavin Crichton (Active Enquiry), Agnes Nedregard, Paul Hurley, and Richard Layzell.

In September 2011 we relaunched the Performance Platform as an open conspiracy. (Click here for more information.)
